Monthly Home Study Hours
Students in grades 4th – 8th are required to submit a Study Hour form for each month showing a minimum of 4 hours of instruction/study done at home. Hours spent completing homework, reviewing for a test, reviewing class notes, or reading for school are acceptable. Study Hour forms are available on the school website.

7th /8th grades- team games

7th /8th grades- relay games

Wednesday, OCTOBER 10- Triathlon Day at Roper YMCA
On this day, please bring your student to the Roper YMCA at 9:45 am. Students will be completing a school triathlon. They will be swimming, biking, and running laps. More information will be coming as we get closer to the date.
Please note that there will be NO morning care or after care this day.
Students need to bring their bikes and come in their swimming suits on this day.

6th Grade Review for Unit 2 Test

What to know for the test:
• EXPONENTS- how to write in exponential form, standard form, and expanded form.
• GCF and LCM- prime factor numbers to find the greatest common factor and the least common multiple.
• Change a number from scientific notation to a standard number.
• Change a number from standard form to scientific notation form.
• Evaluate an expression using the order of operations.

How do I study for this test?

You can study by reading through all your UNIT 2 notes. Look back through your homework. Complete some problems from your math book on:
Page 49: 3-6; 22-24
Page 233: 15-18; 58-63

5th grade Math Test Monday, September 10

5th Grade Review for Unit 1 Test

What to know for the test:
• How to multiply whole numbers. (digit places up to 4 digits multiplied by 3 digits.)
• How to divide whole numbers. (1 and 2 digit divisors.)

How do I study for this test?

You can study by reading through all your UNIT 1 notes. Look back through your homework. Complete some problems from your math book on pages 586-593.
